Disability Services

Notre Dame College complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 by providing auxiliary aids and academic adjustments to students with physical or mental impairments that substantially limit or restrict one or more of such major life activities as walking, hearing, seeing, or learning.

Notre Dame College provides these auxiliary aids and academic adjustments free of charge to eligible students with a documented disability. Eligibility is dependent on the impact of the impairment on the individual and is verified by documentation by a qualified professional. To learn more, please visit the Dwyer Learning Center page.

Students with a documented learning disability looking for an enhanced support program that goes above and beyond Section 504 requirements may apply to the the Thrive Learning Center. The Thrive Learning Center is a fee-based program. Students must first be admitted to Notre Dame College before applying to the Thrive Learning Center.
