Peter Mahoney

Peter Mahoney is a dedicated and highly motivated Career Services director with a background in information technology and career services. He has over 20 years of experience in the higher education industry as a C-level cabinet member, department leader, and adjunct. He graduated from Slippery Rock State College with an undergraduate degree in Biology and from Waynesburg College with a Master of Business Administration.

Peter holds certifications as a certified professional résumé writer (CPRW), project management professional (PMP), certified agile service manager (CASM), and an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations service management professional. He also holds over 60 certificates of completion in areas, such as career coaching, servant leadership, computer studies, FEMA emergency management (IS-100.HE, IS-200.b, IS- 800.b), contemporary supervision, and influence management among many others.

His professional memberships include the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC) and the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) – Career Development Division. Peter is also skilled in interview techniques, operational excellence, and strategic planning, and is a life-long learner who understands the value of experiential learning and the importance of shaping the next generation of workforce leaders.

Elizabeth Conroy

Elizabeth Conroy (she/her) is a certified Career Coach / Global Career Development Facilitator. A creative professional with a wealth of experience in the Education and Nonprofit sectors, Elizabeth graduated from Notre Dame College with both her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education & English (Class of 2000) and her graduate degree in Education for Reading & Literacy (Class of 2006).

Following a successful career at high schools within the Diocese of Cleveland, Elizabeth spent eight years as a full-time faculty member of NDC’s Division of Professional Education as a Literacy Specialist and Field Supervisor. She transitioned to two years as a staff member in the college’s Career Services office. Elizabeth is a six-time recipient of the Who’s Who of American High School Teachers distinction and was honored to receive the Distinguished Faculty Award by Notre Dame College in 2015. Truly a #FalconForLife, Elizabeth is happy to serve as the Internship Coordinator of Career Services following a position in consultative sales & portfolio management for a Cleveland-area collaborative nonprofit.

With an extensive background in performing arts, in both on- and off-stage capacities, she is skilled in utilizing theatre principles to engage learners and clients. She is a Board Member of the Cleveland Repertory Orchestra and freelances as a Career Coach and Proofreader & Editor.
