Services Available at Career Services (CSC)

The Career Services Center focuses on the whole person and supports students and alumni through their career journey. The CSC exists to provide students and alumni with the tools to build a successful future. The CSC works towards this goal by offering a variety of services to help meet clients' career and life goals. These services include:

  • Career Services Assessment and computer-assisted guidance
  • Career education outreach programming
  • Career fairs in conjunction with consortiums or community partners
  • Career information and career planning resources
  • Internships for academic credit
  • Individual career coaching by appointment
  • Intake or drop-in advising/coaching
  • Graduate school search and application preparation
  • Job listings through Falcon Career Network
  • Job material critiques (resume, cover letter, etc.)

College Central

College Central Network is the primary job search service for Notre Dame College. This service helps students & alumni find a job and get the scoop on career-related programs and events. Career-related articles and podcasts assist student career readiness. Employers are able to create an account with us to post job opportunities of all types (full-time, part-time, internships, co-ops) to attract qualified student and alumni applicants. All of these services are offered to NDC students, alumni and our employer partners free of charge!

This self-paced tool will help you select or change your major, clarify your career goals, and provide you with valuable occupational information that are most compatible with your personal assessment results. To get started on FOCUS:

  • First time users: Create an account and use the following access code when prompted: Falcons  

  • Returning users: Log in if you already have an existing account

After you complete the work interest, skills, personality and values self-assessments, make an appointment with the Career Services Center.

Career Closet

Our Career Closet provides professional clothing, at no cost, to students for upcoming campus events, job shadowing, internships, interviews, networking events, and employment.  Contact Elizabeth Presley at to make an appointment for a “personal shopper” experience if unable to attend an upcoming “Pop-Up Shop” event on campus. 

Visit our “Pop-Up Shops” on the following dates for Spring Term 2018: January 17, February 14, March 14, and April 18. The Career Closet will be located in the foyer of the Administration Building from 1-4pm on the Wednesday dates listed. Clothing and accessories  for men and woman, all sizes and seasons, will be available on a first-come basis. A limited number of clothing items allowed will be allotted per student, and based on availability.

The Notre Dame College Career Closet endeavors to provide the student body with free professional attire and accessories for use at campus-related events, job shadowing, internships, interviews, and employment. Access to these quality items exemplifies the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame and aids student growth in personal, professional, and global responsibility.
